The Wharfedale & District Football Association are pleased to announce that with the retirement of Secretary Reg. Allwood at the Annual General Meeting of the Association last Thursday evening the 27th. May 2010 following 25 years in the position, it was approved that Mr.Keith Urquhart of Otley would take over this very important job. Keith Urquhart has been Secretary of Otley Town Sports & Social Club for quite a few years and with his experience of being Secretary of the Club it should put him is good stead for taking over his role as District F.A. Secretary. He is wished the very best of luck!

The West Riding County F.A. are looking for Clubs to nominate players for the above sides Representative games in the coming season 2010-2011. If you think you have any players who would be good enough to play in the above grade of football to represent the County F.A. please get in touch with the:

giving the players name, address, date of birth, home and mobile telephone numbers, Club and the position they play. We are looking for quality and NOT quantity. The Under 16's play in the Midlands Counties F.A. Under 16's League and the Under 18's in the Northern Counties Championship and also the Football Association County Youth Cup Competition. The Ladies side play in the Ridings League with games home and away against the North and East Riding teams. The player has to be under 16 as at midnight on the 31st. August 2010 for the Under 16 side and Under 18 as at midnight on the 31st. August 2010 for the Under 18 side. The Ladies side is Open Age. Keith will then send the nominations to the West Riding County F.A.
